MIPTV: Germany’s Red Arrow Entertainment has joined forces with the recently launched US arm of Israel’s Studio Glam to co-develop a slate of international formats.

The distributor already represents Studio Glam shows The Decision and Cook Stars, both of which made their debut at MipTV this week.
Life-changing format The Decision launched on Channel 10 in Israel in February, growing the channel’s average share by 46% on its premiere and has been recommissioned.
Studio Glam was founded by Ami and Ilan Glam in 2013 and expanded into the US in 2016. Its slate comprises 20-plus formats in varying stages of production around the world, including The Selfie Challenge, Win the Crowd, The Extra Mile and The Decision.
Michael Schmidt, chief creative officer at Red Arrow Entertainment Group, called Ami Glam “a pure formats guy with exciting new ideas,” adding that the partnership would “allow us to create great TV shows together, add new, fresh formats to the Red Arrow sales pipeline and distribute them worldwide.”
The first step will be “turning The Decision into a global success,” he said.
