Israel-based Studio Glam has announced the opening of Studio Glam ID (International Development), a new division designed to promote the development of TV formats for the international market.
The new division will operate alongside Studio Glam in Tel Aviv & will operate as a separate entity.
Studio Glam ID will focus on international collaborations with broadcasters, production companies and distributers, with the aim of co-developing original formats intended for international market, and tailored to the demand and needs of specific territories.
Studio Glam ID innovative model of format development: focusing on co- development content directly for& with broadcasters, allowing them to set the production aspects and optionally distribution.
Founder and CEO of Studio Glam, Ami Glam, will head the creative aspects of Studio Glam ID, and will be personally involved in all aspects of development.
“The new division is a huge and exciting step forward, as it opens up opportunities to work with new players,” Ami Glam explained in a statement, “Studio Glam ID will focus on working closely and in full collaboration with our partners. It’s paramount that the expansion of the studio does not jeopardize the high quality and standards we pride ourselves on. At Mipcom 2015 Studio Glam will present three new formats: Double or Nothing, a challenge-based game show created in collaboration with Armoza Formats; Knockout, a hidden camera prank show created in collaboration with Keshet International; and The Decision, a new factual entertainment format, currently in production for channel 10 Israel.
